Sleeping with a lamp

Two nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night and I was hugging my lamp beside my bed. Some how in the middle of the night I had unplugged the thing and decided it would be better if I were hugging it while I slept. Is this strange? Has anyone else ever done anything like this? Or maybe I'm just strange.  Obviously, I have some wacky sleeping patterns.

Engaged!

It's official!

Wednesday, October 01, 2008

Right now, I am sitting in the MJC library asking myself why on earth did I take 14 units this semester when I am already done with all of my nursing prerequisites.  I have a Spanish test today and my hopes of getting an A is diminishing with each practice problem I attempt to complete.  I have a term paper due in less than 2 weeks and I haven't even begun to research my topic. Yikes!  Things usually always work out I don't know why I insist on stressing.  Good news is, today I found a parking spot right aways unlike last Wednesday where I drove around for 40 min looking for a spot. Why didn't I give up and park in the boonies? That is precisely what I'd like to know.  Thank you Xanga for letting me vent! Haha!

End of Summer fun

Before school again, the girls got together and went to Raging Waters in Sacramento.  Contrary to our knowledge, the California State fair was going on at the same time and we had to buy tickets to fair also.  Surprisingly, they were having a discount day and we got in for half price.  We ended up spending more time at the fair than at the water slides.  We had tons of fun milking goats and cows, petting alligators, looking at horses, and seeing all the exhibits.

So after running around the fair acting like children, we had to do something a little more civilized the next week.  Caroline hosted a delightful tea party at her house.

Caroline and Sheryl did a great job at making the place beautiful!

We all got to choose our favorite tea cup!

We took the flowers from the table and put them in our hair

Eventually we acted like ourselves again! haha!

We had a great time!  What a wonderful way to end the summer!

So I went to an 80s party, but I was the only one who dressed up!

And I went to an amazing concert featuring Little Big Town!
